Fee and Method of Payment
Regular fee is charged for psychotherapy/counselling services.
Due to current conditions as a result of COVID-19, I am accepting bank e-transfers for session payments at my email: info@newhorizonscounselling.com.
Once payment for teletherapy session has been received, the client will receive a receipt for insurance purposes by email.
Third Party Reimbursement
My sessions are covered by most private insurance companies and extended health benefits. I work under the umbrella of a Registered Ontario Psychologist. Please make inquiries with your health insurance provider regarding the details of your coverage. I will issue you a receipt at the time of payment and you submit this receipt directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Please note that sometimes your insurance company will require a physician’s referral. When a referral is needed and you are not able to make an appointment with a doctor before your initial sessions(s) with me, the physician will routinely, upon request, back date the referral in order to cover any sessions you have received.
Fees are based on a 60-minute counselling session. Please note that the session needs to include time for payment and for the scheduling of our next appointment.
Kindly note that a charge may be applied at my discretion in the case where an appointment is either missed or cancelled without 48 hours advance notice.
A fee of $10.00 will be charged for a returned cheque.
Hours and availability
I am currently accepting new clients. Daytime and evening appointments are available Monday to Friday.
Weekend appointments could be available as a special request.
